Its a vivid potrait of Rhodesian village, the farming, the struggles with weather God and a sharp description of the slavery of black skinned humane in the land. It has a psychological overbearing with neat and astute chrome of a dark era in that part of world, which was also prevalent in other parts of human cohabitation. It is the depiction of darkness, desire and a meek justification of those. A very good read. The writer is at ease with nature and human mind in equal efficacy.
