It’s very rare to find good NEW war movies in this day and age in my opinion. The Covenant is able to take a historical event ( the translators left behind, not to mention the millions of dollars of equipment by Biden in the Afghanistan withdrawal) and create a heartwarming, and riveting story line. This film kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole film and had me feeling for the thousands of translators who are still in hiding because the U.S failed on its covenant. If you want to watch a movie that is inspired by true events, is new, and has an incredible cast and storyline then this is your movie!
