Borderline unplayable. The difficulty is so unforgiving that you can literally lose hours of progress due to a simple mistake. It renders the entire game nearly worthless. I have poured nearly 60 hours into the game and have progreesed no farther than 10% into the story despite following every guide and tutorial. The reason for this is the unrealistic combat, which borders on lethargic. No amount of practice, whether through actual combat or through paying for lessons has improved the experience. Lockpicking is so abyssmally broken that the only way to use it is by sticking the settings to simplified. Archery is an absolute joke, lacking even a rudimentary targetting reticule, despite the fact that the SWORDS HAVE ONE!!!! The map cursor is so small and badly colored that navigating the map is an exercise in futility. Traders are sparse and carry either cheap, virtually worthless items, or exceptionally fine gear but at such a ridiculous price that it forces the player to survive with base weapons that barely damage the wind as you strike out with your pathetic skills. I fully applaud the idea of letting the player claw their way to victory on their own merit, but the biggest mistake the developers made with this game was creating an experience that is so punishing that it leads veteran gamers of difficult games such as Devil May Cry and Dark Souls to not only delete the game from their system, but to actively demand a refund for their wasted time. Kingdom Come Deliverance, you have spat in the faces of gamers you should have treated with respect. You have disappointed us all.
