I wish I could turn back time, and stop all the little girls from entering the cinema. My hopes for the Barbie movie were dashed as it resorted to demeaning men to empower women. True empowerment should never come at the expense of another gender. The one-dimensional portrayal of male characters and perpetuation of harmful stereotypes left me so disheartened. A missed opportunity to inspire and promote encouragement and inclusivity for young audiences. Don't expose your little ones, please!
