I mostly watched this because I used to be an avid Dota player. Unfortunately the writing and animation has been lackluster and uninspiring. The timing between what is happening visually with the animation is often uncoordinated with the voice acting. And constant use of questionable voice lines like "little mouse" as well as unnecessary expletives from Davion simply do not add anything of value to the dialogue. Unfortunately the writing and the story could have been much better. I'm a much bigger fan of Dota 2 than LoL, but I recommend folks watch Arcane to see how a great animated series should be filmed.
