This movie blew me away. I was glued to the seat and eyes on the screen. Remarkably done, it is a visual masterpiece, and Alita is the crown jewel herself. The action scenes are some of the best ever created. This movie has a serene balance about it that smoothly floats through each of the scenes in their own unique proportionality. There are lots of scenes focused on her back story and her love story which people dismiss but I don't. The love story, between a cyborg and a human isn't too far of a stretch considering 300, 400, 500 years into the future. Moreso, they are half of what makes her most beautiful, her human touch. The other half being the bond she has with her, I guess you'd say Savior, and surrogate father. What people dismiss is essential to create the tension that makes the action so much more enjoyable. You will feel slightly unfulfilled at the end, shouting for 30 minutes more, but just be patient. The ending is essential to create the tension needed to make the sequel a reality.
