This movie makes absolutely no sense. The flashbacks cause more and more confusion. For example, Jimmy is supposed to be older than Sophie, but every flashback makes her older. Like the flashback where Jimmy shots Becca, they are seven and Sophie is supposed to be 5 but she looks 10! Then AnnaLee only appears in half the flashbacks, so where was she when Faith was being born. And Eli was also missing. You are made to believe he is only a couple years older than Faith, but he is at least 14 because he was in a stroller right after Becca was killed. Then the two cops say that Jack will be punished by the law, but also say that it is anarchy out there, so how many judges and officers are really there to defend this law? And Jimmy goes into the water to be baptized. They were so worried about infections earlier in the movie but totally disregard it now. And why did they name their child Faith? Was the name already picked out? Or were they honoring this child that doc had failed to save? Cause that is creepy.
