I disliked this movie very much when I first watched it. I like it more now, but I still think it was botched. Great action, great acting, but really lousy screenplay and storyline. John Connor was the leader of the resistance, he brought humanity back from the brink and taught people how to fight back. Kyle Reese's words to Sarah Connor in the original movie. Written and acted (Michael Biehn brought it and sold it) so well that shortly into the movie we are rooting for this guy John Connor, even though we never see him in the movie. And does the John Connor in this movie carry on this description. NO!! He is a lackey and more of a DJ (I mean c'mon, "this is John Connor and you are listening to WKRZ, all resistance, all the time and remember, if you are listening, then you are the resistance, and now back to the smooth sounds of jazz"). This movie had potential but blew with a lame story and screenplay.
