I'm not a religious person, but this was a captivating series. It humanizes almost every character so that the viewer has a chance to understand why things happen the way they do. It is an indictment of current geopolitics, but seasoned with a certain type of hope, and faith, that has been lost in recent years. I'd recommend that anyone watch this series, as I feel it is one of Netflix best so far.
