I love the chemistry of the characters . In one of the scene while seated on the mountain top on their hike the father explained to Hwan how to deal with his first love. Another was the scene when Jin does not want to eat and the father explained how Je Yi and him lived while he was gone. Those words were so powerful that if and when I am in that position I know what to say.
I love Korean drama because I come from the same culture and can empathize with the characters.
