This movie is the equivalent of Pink Floyd’s 26 minute version of “Shine on You Crazy Diamond.” Eventually you’ll want to turn the channel. It’s an anecdote stretched way too far.
A thug we know nothing about is somehow bossed into dishing out punishment toward a sap we know nothing about in order to satisfy the higher-up thugs we know even less about and for reasons that don’t seem to fit the chaos.
The only person worth rooting for is the kid, Jack.
