Movie review - You’re cordially invited With Will Ferrell in it, you know the movie is supposed to have his unique and awkward sense of humor, which it did but i would say this will not be counted under top ten of his work. I found it somewhat predictable at times but the only thing that i did not think the writers would do is pair up Reese and Will into something romantic at the end. Everyone has acted brilliantly in the film, to a level where in you start feeling irritated by just looking at certain characters, like her daughter and her maid of honor./wedding planner The daughter’s character is really woke which the actor has performed so well that you truly feel cringe throughout the movie except the end.. Reese, on the other hand, did well too. Sad, single and aloof with a hint of control issues, yet emotional and sophisticated, kind. Beautiful blend which she portrayed quite well. This is a one-time watch over some dinner. Entertaining and unrealistic, with a few laughs sneaked here and there. Must be watched once as a no-brainer, relaxing movie

Movie review - The storyteller “It has Paresh Rawal and is named storyteller, maybe there will be a lot of short stories in it” , I thought to myself before i started this movie. It was 3rd feb, 2025 and the fact that it is inspired by one Satyajit Ray’s work was nothing short of a bonus. I think this is my first Ray’s movie. Will try to not spoil it and still give you an idea of how brilliantly this slow-paced yet interesting movie shows anecdotes of various human emotions. Restlessness- Paresh Rawal is someone so talented that he creates stories on the spot but still cannot stick to a single job for more than six months. He has worked 73 jobs in his lifetime. Normalises a human emotion of anxiety and restlessness; Passion- The cotton mogul who is so passionate about what he wants that he leaves no stones unturned to achieve the set goals; Love- This emotion has been loosely portrayed by a cat and the fish. I did not see love so deeply accepted throughout the whole movie but in Paresh’s love for cat and his love for fish. Very unusual way to show how deeply he felt everything; I am from Kolkata and they have evidently tried to show Bengalis in a certain way wherein they are innocent, low-maintenance and stringent about their ways and beliefs. I like that about this city. The authenticity of those times have been aesthetically pleasant. From furniture to cars, curtains to clothes, very well-placed but in one scene they show people clicking picture with old-school camera and a lil boy is holding a mobile phone and in that little missed detail was very VERY disappointing for me. I would recommend it to all as an interesting and twisted movie wherein you will stand to question who is right and the answer would be that every character was morally wrong and that is the beauty of the movie. The last element of humanity - morals and how crooked it can be. There is no Supreme Court who judges your core morals and the last two minutes of the movie hits you with a sarcastic joke.

Beautiful and heartfelt. Very well made. I don’t want korean series at all and this just popped up on my Netflix. I started as it was limited series, 16 episodes and it just got over. I wish it was not limited series. I laughed, cried and felt the emotional roller coaster that this series fills you with. It’s real and very innocent. Whether you like rom com or not, watch it. Stay patient with it as it changes a whole lot. You might not feel intrigued in the first episode but my episode three, the conspiracies unfold and you are given a feel of it being more than a romcom. You even feel sad for Eung, for having such a tough life that makes him a villain. My god, I’m glad such stories exist. The softcore, innocent love makes me want to move to south korea😂 Every character is so well-defined and has a story of its own. Its just such a beautiful show that everyone should watch it
