R. Brent Reed

Comparable to Heath Ledger's performance in Dark Knight - same character but at opposite ends of his super-villain career - both brilliantly portrayed - they compliment each other. Contrasting the two, I identified with much of what the Joker in Dark Knight said - but not so with Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal. This movie is darker - psychologically - and it explains much more of the insane mind of the Joker.
