I'd loved Happy Gilmore the original. This sequel doesn't feel like a second movie. It feels like a Where are they Now special for the original cast. The plot in some ways ruins the Happy Gilmore character we loved at the end of the original. The whole idea of golf going away to some new 2025 edition is just silly. I looked forward to this movie for the past 2 months and I am just extremely disappointed in that I can rewatch the original but Ill likely never re-watch this sequel except to show others how bad it is. Mr. Sandler. Love ya, truly, but you've got a handful of misses for me. Grown Ups 2, Happy Gilmore 2, Jack and Jill, and a few others. There's no hope for me for a Happy Gilmore 3 as this one has ensured that I'll never get more of the characters I liked.
