I like the very simple way they talk on Oobi. I don't like Elmo on Sesame Street just because he's entirely too high pitched. But I digress...I'm not going to expect my 1 year old to be able to pontificate like an adult at this age. Correct me if I'm wrong (gently) but...I don't think that Willow understands the concept of pronouns. Do any kids this age? She doesn't "get" that if she says "Willow likes Oobi." and "I like Oobi." it means the same thing. Yes, of course with repetition and listening to me...she'll eventually get it...but it's not like she's going to grow up and only talk in third person. Toddlers are ego-centric...that's just the nature of things. It's a phase they all go through. Speaking in 3rd person is very ego-centric...it's a natural process...
