True -it's a slow burn and it's not for everyone but if you like Black Mirror and Severance, you may want to give this a go. Understand the payoff is not going to be an Invasion of the Body Snatchers level climax. This has a lot going for it as far as ambiance and dystopian allegory. Do I wish they would have dialed everything up a notch- sure, but I think a clear choice was made to focus on the moments leading up to the lab experiment escaping. It made me think of the Sacklers and the opioid epidemic.
