Sorry but not a patch on the previous books. After 50 pages I lost the will to live as it was getting difficult to maintain any interest in a pretty boring story line. I like Richard Osman and have loved reading his other books but maybe the Thursday murder club is running out of steam.

Some nice humour, but this book is a test of commitment! Too many characters and changes of tense plus a mish-mash of short passages that switch you around made this hard work. If it wasn't for the cost I would have given up and shut the book.

Weak cast and meandering story line. Sorry but this is a very poor drama offering.
