Never watched the original movie these people are talking about but watching this movie didnt do the original any justice. Horrible pacing, forgettable characters, Garbage plot (It sounded cool during the start but went downhill), no character development, and overall boring to watch. Even though I never watched the original movies I walked out the theatres feeling like I have watched the same woke movie that was forced down my throat for the thousandth time. "Strong independent woman loses someone close to her, she is naturally strong and talented, the mary sue of the story, gains no character development because she never had flaws to begin with, she gets out of situations that are literally impossible to escape, falls in love with someone but he dies because he doesnt matter, gets her revenge, then impowers women who are being opressed". There is nothing in the movie that is interesting, best part of the movie was when her mother was sacrificing herself to save her, then it all goes downhill from there. She gets sold off to an old man who gets his way with women and has men who would die on command if he chooses, yet she alone cuts her hair and goes to battle somehow surviving while being in a 99% casualty rate, falls in love with someone who doesn't matter because he gets 10 minutes of screen time. gets caught by the same man who killed her mother and somehow escapes by cutting her arm off and grabbing a motorcycle (She is surrounded by around 30 men who literally have eyes on her at all times but somehow escapes without them know?), makes it back to base makes a metal arm and gets revenge, the plot went from going back to home, to getting revenge, to falling inlove, to inpowering women in the end (Checking off boxes). The only memorable character was hemsworth who suprise suprise, got almost NO screen time but was the only person who actually stood out. Don't watch the movie its a scam.
