Undekhi Season 1 was more rich with the storyline and characterization. Throughout the Plot, there was a sense of repulsion and hatred built against an Influencial Family running the show in a hilly town, and conducting criminal activities. There was not attempt to glorify the criminals , but to show-- un reality how victims and innocents turn helpless in a corrupt society, how influencial and super-rich families can control administration in their favor and get away with serious crimes and attrocities. Even the ending, was a ray of hope, that things can get better and the Crime-Lords would get a pay back. However, Undekhi Season 2 turned really hopeless. It turned out to be a typical Crime-Family Drama. Their family tensions, power game and drama. The only thing director did was to ensure everyone who are victim of wrong doings and weaker are getting killed. There is no scope of Justice, no scope of fighting back, not a single member of the Atwal Family was harmed or confronted. Actually, Atwals simply get away with all the crimes unharmed and practically unchallenged by Indian Law and Order. May be, the powerful crime-lords in some states-- really do get away with all wrong doings. But eventually making them triumph, turning a 'story of victims seeking vengeance' into a 'drama of criminal family' is seriously Disappointing. Highly Disappointed with the ending of Season 2 and what it turned to be. It was 4 Star in Season 1, but a mere 2 star for Season 2. And that 2 star shall remain final for what being done to otherwise could have been a good series.
