I have mixed feelings because this drama leaves me wanting more and maybe that's the hook of it and also the frustration of it. Firstly, I love the two leads they are good actors and have seen them before in other dramas and they have capable range. Then love, love the music scores Last Chance & Hold me Back are perfect for the drama theme. Kudos to the composer and singers, the emotional depth matches the story line. I do like the story, however other characters could have been developed more. But watching this drama maybe I miss the romantic nuances because of the subtitle or due to my lack of Korean cultural fluency.There are scene where the lines are not matching the actions...this is an adult grown up drama and it feels high schoolish some times. For instance, the emotional disconnect where the lines/words don't match the acting/behavior! The normal expectation is that romantic words = more displays of matching affection and romantic behavior (not the off putting raunchy American type) but if the scene is giving a romantic vibe there could be appropriate hugging, kissing, caressing touching to match the lines! However I see the actors just look at each other after a romantic moment of some touching words...its counter intuitive because in reality when lovers have a moment it's followed by acts of affection. This is to the directoring missing this sensibilities. But I can also say after watching many grown up romantic kdramas the many scenes don't match the behavior. It's romantically cold and this kind of takes away from the storyline in this and others. I am always wondering if it's meant to score a certain TV rating. But honestly adult grown up actors shouldn't be acting like bashful teenagers! It's annoying!
