Watched it as a kid and LOVED it. Rewatched it again today as an adult, still loving it.

It was scary, but i wouldn't rate this very highly since there are many things in there that could've been explained better and explore more of. SPOILERS - what is the whole 'earn your face' thing with the murderers? why did they want to murder people? we see the clown setting up a trap at the beginning of the movie, and at the end we see Sam getting trapped in it, but was that the whole point of the trap? Just to catch Sam? Suppose if Sam didn't come, what would be the use of the trap? Many problems with the plot, but good scares.

Really good plot and loads mysteries still unsolved.

Very suspenseful atmosphere throughout with fantastic sound effects to enhance this. There were also some great jump scares as well. The actors portrayed their roles soo well and were so natural. The ending was unexpected, which was interesting. But the plot became too predictable about half way in (SPOILERS ahead) It became a bit predictable after the jin-seok ran from the police station and discovered that his supposed family was setting up a murder scene in the house. Well, at least it was obvious to me at that point that this whole time they were 'tricking' the guy because they wanted him to regain his memories and confess he is the killer, and during the flash back it was also quite obvious that the yoo-seok (the "older brother") was the kid whose family was murdered.

The story plot is not well developed, there doesn't seem to be a plot that gradually builds up overtime. Certain aspects of the movie is very confusing and left unexplained. The climax lacks the qualities of a climax. Some scenes were very pleasing visually. But overall, I wouldn't say it is a good movie as it lacks the most important aspect in my mind - a well developed plot. Ps. The part where the girl turned into a giant, floppy, 'lettuce' kinda thing while floating in air REALLY disturbs me.
