The less you know about Napoleon and history of the period the more your will enjoy the film. The prussians appearing from the West in the battle of Waterloo was my favourite blunder. The cannon effects were some of the best I've ever seen. Other than that I was just disappointed. Napoleon just set traps for blundering opponents running into them rather than expertly drawing capable opponents into poor positions or using corps system to outmenouver them.
