I love how fun and lighthearted this show was. The characters started out strong like the way I grew to love the entire cast of Sex and the City. Not sure what happened but I feel like the character development and overall story have become extremely predictable, and far too outlandish. The story has nowhere to go and the Emily and Gabriel story just doesn’t work the way Carrie and Big’s did. Over it.

If you like Sex and the City imagine Carrie and the girls with newborn babies and children dealing with how to balance their former NYC night lives with being a mom and wife, and you have Workin Moms. It was difficult to watch and cringeworthy at certain parts. A little too serious I guess you could say? For example, almost putting a dog down (adorable dog mind you) because he was nipping at MIL/strangers and your babysitter asked you to, and aborting a pregnancy at 3 months because of the pros and cons of having a 3rd unintended child. There’s a scene where one of the moms is depressed and almost takes her baby under water in the bath tub. If anything it was very upsetting. I find all the characters to be very annoying, except for the stay at home Dad. It was sad rather than fun to watch. I should mention I just had my first baby three months ago, and there were some relatable moments that baited me into binge watching. But i doubt i’ll watch another season now that i’ve made it to the bitter end.
