I wrote a really long review, and this website did not save it. So I'll give you the short version. Cyber enhancements were almost an afterthought in this game even though visually and marketing the game you would think it would be all about upgrades. I beat the game today I purchased one upgrade at the very end. for some reason the game doesn't steer you towards buying upgrades or even really mentioning them at all. I actually forgot about them until the very end when I realized I had 50,000 credits because I didn't buy a single thing the whole game and I didn't buy any upgrades. So I went and bought one it was like $25, 000 and didn't notice any difference whatsoever. The crafting system is garbage, the armor is useless because if you're looking for aesthetics, they force you to wear certain items that you find in the world. For example I kept finding helicopter pilot helmets and that was literally all I found the whole game for my headwear, so I had to wear that and then some stupid clown mask face mask that I found because it had the best armor and mods, and then some MC Hammer pants. I was basically forced to wear this stuff the entire game and I have a female V and I felt like I looked absolutely ridiculous and hated the character model. Honestly every single thing about this game made me upset it was devoid of any fun, I just felt deceived because it just had zero quality to any aspect of it. The shooting socks, the enemies could literally take a million shots sometimes, and then other times they would take one shot and die. There was no rhyme or reason to it I checked the security level of all of them sometimes they were five sometimes they were three it didn't matter. Sometimes they would kill me in one shot sometimes my weapons would do zero damage and I feel like it was just a bug but honestly I just think the game was made so piss poor.

Kids don't buy golf games, therefore this was made for adults to play, right? Eh I'm not so sure. I come from the HotShot franchise so even though it's cartoony, the physics are dead on and the specials add to the overall strategy. In Mario Golf, I don't feel like I have any control over my shot but it's ok cuz you can just swing away with out aiming and get close enough. That's after playing three rounds. I'm not sure I'm going to play more but I'll update later. Bottom like out the gate Hot Shots would be a 10 and this is a 1 so far. Also I got HotShots for $8 and paid $60 for this.

This. Game. Sucks. I know a golf simulator doesn't exactly sound fun but somehow this game actually feels like punishment to play. I love Hot Shots golf. I loved Tiger Woods back in the day. This is hot garbage. I only paid $20 and I would gladly have paid more for a decent game. A game should be fun and this is not.

Cool game yo. Ps5 looks good. Fast load times. Saves in an instant.
