Most of the negative reviews I see above are unfounded and seem based more on hearsay rather than by individuals who've actually read the book. Why leave a 1-star and shame the author when you haven't cracked the first page? This morning I watched my father open the copy that I purchased for Christmas and he hasn't put it down. It's not a sci-fi novel and it doesn't have the pretty pictures of Better Homes & Gardens, nor does it ever claim to, but it is everything it advertises itself to be. If that's not your thing, pass it by. If it is, check it out and maybe then review it based on your experience instead of speculation.
