*No spoilers* 1. Lack of Scariness: The movie fails to deliver the essential horror element. 2. Poor Writing: The script feels generic and uninspired, possibly resembling AI-generated content. 3. Playing It Safe: The film avoids risks, likely due to being part of a pre-planned trilogy that is already shot. 4. Character Issues: The main characters make unrealistic decisions and lack chemistry, making it hard for the audience to connect with them. 5. Disappointing Antagonists: The iconic villains from the original are not used effectively. 6. Forgettable Atmosphere: The original’s slow-burn, atmospheric horror is lost. 7. Lackluster Kills: Even the horror elements like kills are not impactful.
