This show was (despite what the media might say) honestly quite fun? The premise is intriguing, the characters are all different, and the relationships between them even more so.
The chemistry between the two leads was absolutely lovely, something I can't say for another show that premiered recently, and I can say the same for the chemistry between the rest of the cast as well.
The Burns felt very much like a close knit, no nonsense family who know who they are and what they're about. The Fairmonts, on the other hand, were a classic dysfunctional family that was perfect on the outside but hanging on by THREADS on the inside. And even so? The thing that they had in common with each other was their love and devotion to their family members (except the twins because... whew, iykyk).
Talia Burns was definitely my favourite character and the actress who plays her did a FANTASTIC job.
Overall, I give it a 3.7/5 simply because it wasn't the most... visually appealing (in terms of VFX) and the stunt choreography and line delivery (FOR MINOR CHARACTERS) was a bit awkward and stiff at times.
I hope it gets a second season because I'm interested to know more about the world!
