Kevin’s performance does this genre right! Samuel Jackson and Don Cheadle show up, and do it right, too. It’s good. Engrossing. Makes me hope they find more stories with this vibe.

I love this movie. I never understand why it doesn’t receive the wonderful reviews it deserves. The actors are stellar, the storyline is great, and the script is fun, sad, angering, and exciting, and envelopes you in a period piece without being overdone. What else does one want?

This show is so refreshing. The characters are recognizable and relatable without being stereotypical. It’s funny, and the acting is great. The storylines are original. Each actor more than carries their weight. Very under appreciated show. So glad I came across it. Donald Faison shines in this.
