This book offers insights on on emotional regulation yet offers very little details as to what that actually involves and I didn't find references to support or modalities that allow readers more insight into how emotional regulation exercises can be used.
My biggest concern- and where it lost all credibility- was the section on relationships and the condescending tone that people should not be looking for partners with similar political views. Despite the fact of research shared that most millennials and I'm assuming Gen x actually say that is a key requirement for a relationship.
Dismissing this research at the author is very patronizing to suggest that religion religious morality would be more important than practical morality in the shape of political beliefs.
Was genuinely surprised that Oprah's team allowed this section to be concluded in the book.
