Whole Bagel

It felt underwhelming if I'm being entirely honest, the trailers practically showed all of the tense scenes as nothing truly came as a surprise. It gave off the vibe as the horror movie that a Christian family would clutch their pearls watching instead of what many have been deeming the 'horror movie of the year'. I'd give it a 2.5 out of five since the humor hits bit it wouldn't really let up and let tense moments be tense, it made it dilute its fear factor by swapping near instantly into comedy. Not to mention the lackluster story, I won't spoil anything as it literally just came out, but when you think about how everything comes together it makes very little sense. I'd probably watch it again with my younger sibling who hasn't seen it, but if you're looking for something truly scary, this isn't really the movie to watch. BUT it does have well shot cinematic moments that I can appreciate, so that combined with the humor is why this isn't rated lower in my opinion.
