This filmwas wonderful. A story of a retired man’s vow to walk from the south of England to the north, somehow believing this would keep his old work colleague queenie, who was dying of cancer alive. His journey gives him encounters with all sorts of people and gives him time to reflect on his own life and marriage to wife Maureen. Go and see it but make sure you bring hankies.
