What did he say? What did he mean? Where are we now? Is this now or 15 years ago or in the future? What just happened? These are the questions I asked myself all the way through this. (Have watched all episodes) Beautiful cinematography albeit often so dark I wasn't sure if there was anyone in the scene at all. Music was quite fun in a Peaky Blinders style. Terrific character acting in particular from Rafe Spall and Stephen Rea. If it was just supposed to give us a flavour of the terrible atrocities enacted on the native Americans by the settlers then it succeeded. But the script... give me strength! I know we are supposed to pare down the words these days but when actor's lines are cut down to one word, well they sound ridiculous. Sorry to those of you who gave it 5 stars. I fear it's a case of the emperor's new clothes.
