I have loved Wicked since my sister put on the song, "What is This Feeling?". For days after that, I begged her to put on "the loathing song". When I heard it was coming to Hartford, of course I had to go. And when I heard the movie was coming out... boy, was I excited. I was also slightly worried that the movie wouldn't live up to my expectations. I shouldn't have worried. Cynthia Erivo's voice and acting? Flawless. Ariana Grande's voice is absolutely perfect for her role, and she's amazing at acting. All the other characters were assigned excellently. I'm a huge theater kid, so of course the whole time I was wishing I could have acted in it 😆. You can't have everything! I'm pretty sure the first thing I said when I got out of the theater was, "Cynthia Erivo is my new hero. I want to BECOME her when I grow up." If you haven't watched Wicked yet, watch it! It will NOT disappoint. Plus, it's streaming free on Peacock! What does it hurt? FIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!!!
