Im in my mid 80s and definitely no prude— I was so excited to see this program— this was during the times immediately preceding my grandparents lives— I thought I could learn more of their day to day lives and where some of the quirks had come from with my great grandparents that I actually knew some of!! But then, when I started watching the series, it is extremely interesting, but the language is just prohibitive!! And there is certainly NO WAY that we could allow any of our grand or great grand children to watch — It is so sad that so many people will miss out on the knowledge that they could glean from this program—simply because of the language— I knew some of my great grand parents, who had been born in the 1860s, and they certainly never spoke with that amount of profanity— I’m sorry—
