Lots of criticism about this book lately. Keep in mind, it's not designed to be an academic paper on the subject. What it offers is a basic practical overview of the subject of human interaction and motivation. Then, for those more academic, they can do further investigation on specific topics. When we consider how completely distracted, in debt, and superficial our society has become lately, it's likely good for many to begin with this book.
As for plagiarism allegations? Hmm. All our ideas come from somewhere and if you boil it down, likely everyone plagiarizes. Patrick does cite his sources, so not sure what some people's argument is? I have no ponies in this race. Just trying to provide an objective review. I don't know Patrick.
