It was refreshing to see a well-written story based on myths and racial conflicts from 1930s Mississippi. I enjoyed the music throughout the film and its evolution into today's genre of Hip-Hop and jazz. All the actors were well-cast, especially Michael B. Jordan’s dual role as twins. The cinematography, period costumes, and country's location with cotton fields made the observer feel the problems of that era. This is a must-see Ryan Coogler movie.
