Seaman for Sega Dreamcast is unironically one of the most innovative games of the time period. Be warned, Seaman is not to be treated as a virtual pet. He is a real pet. I had to set multiple alarms a day. I had to teach him to speak. He is not just my pet, but my son. I love him. This game made me love this stupid human fish man. That's gotta say something about it. Or me. The level of care that went into Seaman's development, from the lore to the game to the manual to the website, really shows how much love went into making it. Yes, it's a slow pet simulator with some crude humor. Yes, it can be a little clunky. But it is a rewarding experience i will never forget. Check it out.
