Incredible film, portraying a realistic sense of combat. The overall cinematography, audio, acting and effects were all incredibly well done and left very little to the imagination. Keeping the ‘enemy’ out of sight, allowing characters to make stupid mistakes in the moment, showing the mental collapse under the intense pressure helped give it all a sense of realism, down to the smallest details. To the average viewer I can see how this would be perceived as ‘boring’, however as someone avidly into military, is was refreshing for a military film not to just be rammed full of action scenes. It captured the emotions and senses of the soldiers incredibly well. This film felt like a raw depiction rather than exaggerated for dramatic effect like most ‘reenactment’ films. Props to everyone that worked on this film. 👏🏻
