Since the release of Spider-Man into the spiderverse I really loved it so when they announced the release of Across the Spiderverse I was excited. This movie did not disappoint in anyway. It had great animation, great emotional dialogue and action. Each character that showed up screen made sense and it wasn't overwhelming. Seeing Miles find himself and choosing to not be defined by the norm of the other Spiders, and Gwen learning to be more vulnerable and open minded to connecting with people she cares about were really well written components to this movie. This movie was truly great and I highly recommend everyone go see it:)

Spoilers ahead:) I've always been a huge fan of Marvel, but the Guardians never really stood out to me. That being said, this movie did a wonderful job at delivering the Marvel we all know. It explores themes of Animal cruelty, and the importance of community and family all while still delivering action and comedy. I think almost losing Rocket and Peter reconnecting with his grandfather served as a reminder to hold onto the people in our lives that mean something to us. I love how they humanized each person that took up the screen and explored sides to the characters we hadn't seen. I loved seeing Rockets orgin story so much!! Overall I really loved this movie and highly recommend it!
