The game is great for the most part. The gameplay is amazing and the graphics are stunning (as expected).
With that said, just because the written lines of Barret were corny in the original game doesn't mean they had to give him the corniest, fake southern accent, most over the top voice acting ever. To say that he is a racist stereotype - and possibly minstrel - is an understatement.
The gaming industry needs to do better. Everything that involves Barret is cringe and inappropriate. This is pretty inexcusable in 2020.
