I decided to start watching Time Bandits because I love all of Lisa Kudrow’s work! I’ve watched the first 4 episodes so far and I can’t wait to watch the next ones when they are released. The show is really funny and quirky and i personally don’t think it should be compared with the original film as it should be based off the work in the series itself.The contrast of Lisa Kudrow’s character ‘Penelope’ and Kal-el Tuck’s character ‘Kevin’ works well with the uniqueness of the show! I also like the relationship between all the characters as they mostly stick together as well as working as a collective each of them offering a certain skill to the group like Kevin’s knowledge, Widget’s questionable map skills. The sets are similarly unique replicating different time periods: Kevin is knowledgeable on these time periods so the show could be a little educational for specifically a slightly younger audience. Overall, the series is funny, unserious, enjoyable and in my opinion cast rather well. Looking forward to watching the episodes that haven’t been released yet. 5 stars would recommend to everyone!!!
