Gently paced film that offers some warmth for a soft rain winter evening.

The one star reviews smack of some sort of review bombing. Amazing how triggering a muslim protagonist is to some.. it certainly isn't perfect, but it's science fiction for goodness sake - you've got to come into it with some suspension of disbelief. I've read and watched a lot of sci fi and this is a great show well worth watching.

This show must have the most frustrating protagonist ever. I watched on the basis of the strong reviews hoping that things would improve, especially as series 2 is by all accounts better than series one. Unfortunately the improvement never happens. How this was renewed and genuinely awesome shows like the OC weren't is an absolute travesty. This is Buffy without the sass, humour and depth of characteristion. Really there is very little to recommend this show and I regret the time I invested hoping it would get anywhere close to genre leaders. Urgh.

Excellent, 8 perfect episodes.

Surprisingly enjoyable - gets into the action quicky and never lets up. No dull moments and no bloat.

Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but it's really not that good. There is something about the translation to screen which seems to have 'flattened' the characters. Just not enough set up to really care about anything that is happening. Real lack of emotional engagement that is the hallmark of any good series that 'pulls' you in.
