I loved this movie! Almost didn’t watch it because the reviews on Amazon were fairly low. Then again I don’t always tend to agree with the general popular consensus… it was beautiful, smart and moving. I describe the first half or so as being like a bad dream. Off kilter, intriguing and moody. It held my attention and curiosity. Then, it all made sense! In a satisfying but heartbreaking way. The sci fi element has been described as subtle, which I agree with. I feel it’s hard to pigeon hole this movie and I like that.
