Smug, insipid, arrogant characters with very bad and horribly stilted acting all around (even from Cynthia Nixon). I find myself wanting to slap nearly every character in this show up the side of their respective Knickerbocker heads. Don’t try Downton Abbey in turn-of- the-century upper crust New York. It doesn’t translate. Do yourself a very big favor and skip this one. It’s a complete waste of time.
