A lot of sequels fail to deliver and disappoint. I can happily say this is actually better than the original and probably the best film I have seen. Slightly predictable in places. We knew Maverick would fly the mission and that Hangman would come to the aid of Maverick and Rooster however, it just added to the nostalgia (Maverick aiding Iceman in the original). Great film 6 out of 5 for me.
