Just rewatched after seeing Nosferatu in 2025. One of the best films ever made. A masterpiece. There is no comparison with the beauty and subtlety of the 1992 version when compared with the 2025 one which, in my opinion is comical and dull.

Okay to pass an hour or so. The acting was superb. Some flaws in the plot but hey ho... it's a movie. Some of the 5 star and 4 star comments are clearly AI generated. The people complaining about her eating raw fish are unaware that people do this all the time and those complaining about her eating the placenta are unaware that people do this too. The comments are more entertaining than the movie.

I have just finished watching this in one sitting as it captured me from the start. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is beautiful filmed with a brooding atmosphere. It is really a film as some comments have stated rather than a series. I am surprised by the one stars as compared to the usual padded out series of dross on Netflix, most of which I can't tolerate long enough to finish (Bodies for example) it is one of the better offerings. The surgeon character- bored to death by his life, is an easy target for the narcissistic predatory female and her control games. She manages to gaslight everyone and has made a career out of it according to her mother - who is the cause of her issues. It is well worth a watch to observe how the family unravels when Anna arrives. The acting is superb by all and the casting perfect.
