First off, I really don’t get why oh why movie producers spend millions on movies yet they miss the most simple things that could make or break a movie. Like CASTING. I love Zoe Saldana, love Selena Gomez, but… not in a million years should Zoe been casted as a Mexican. Again I love her, but her accent, manner, was NoT believable as a Mexican. It’s shows very little respect to the culture. Was it hard to find a good cast? Is there a lack of Latino actors that could have pulled this off? frankly it’s lazy . But I guess the director thought it wouldn’t make a difference? Ugh it’s a shame. I will give it 2 stars because the idea was great and I like seeing a movie in Spanish with majority of Latino actors but oh man.
