I admire, and enjoy learning Les' perspective. BUT, sometimes, "bless his heart", he gets off point, and does opine.editorialize...and boast, and....example, he messed up the flow Paul had for Romans, chap 12...tangent here, there and everywhere, but the chapter's verses we're on. Critical chapter on reconciliation and not boasting when Israel comes back to the fold. Not a remnant...he bashes them in the programs before, chapters before, but won't retract when Paul actually states it. -- Sometimes, you have to take a break from studying with him, so you don't avoid/cut him off...don't let small disagreements create long-term decisions, know what I mean? He and is wife Miss Iris are such a great treasure, and we are blessed to have him come along, and the broadcasts- I got several series, and study along with friends...no one is perfect, but you have to marvel how his eidetic capability is shown each show. He would be a fun guy to go fishing with or on a long drive...a very respectable man and yes, a Christian deacon. -just frustrating sometimes (and funny) when he takes off ricochet rabbit-style away from the current verses.
