At first, I didn’t really like this movie. I didn’t hate it either, but I didn’t understand it. But for some reason, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, and so I went to the theater and saw it again. Wow. I’m honestly so impressed. Nope is so well written, with an incredible cast and a message that is so important. It’s a wonderful combination of horror, sci-fi and thriller, like Jaws but in the sky. It’s all about spectacle, and us, the viewers, and how we observe tragedy. It’s about exploitation and fame and **spoilers** the message I believe is most important: You cannot change the nature of an animal, for better or worse. No matter what you do, if you put a hat on it, or give it a name, it’s still an animal. //
