I did enjoy this series and I especially love the acting. However, I am really upset with the way the male protagonist was portrayed. The suffering of Ha-Nea was based on Aw-jeong’s selfish behavior and what she thought was best for her. It was very unfair to always make it seem like it was Dea-oh’s fault she had to live a hard life when he was also a victim of her decisions. This was further illustrated when even after know he was the father, she asked him to stay away because she wasn’t ready to open her heart up, not because of the daughter. She was told countless times that the daughter was looking for her father, but she ignored and pretended. She should not be portrayed as heroic, to me she’s the actual villain
